Hi Victoria, Did you paint the image from your imagination only to discover the Newcastle similarity later? I must say, it certainly does look like it. I hope you are doing well and creating some new art soon. Perhaps you should do something to reflect the changes in industry in you area, a split screen view of then and now, Steel works to Shopping Mall, you know the sort of thing.
I'm sure many people have little idea of the history they are walking all over every day...
Trevor I had not read this but I like it..maybe as my arm and hand are so much better I might think about this..certainly would be popular..the Director of UKTI said that I should do an updated book on this region..I told him that I have old family photographs of it..even better he said
